Intro to Gelliplate Printmaking
Participants will create gel plate prints with textures such as feathers, lace and dollies, flowers, leaves and more. Students are encouraged to bring in a few of their own objects to work with for personal meaning. We will be working in black and white silhouettes first and then transfer over to layered printing approach in slow drying acrylics.
No experience needed, just an openness to play and have some fun! Supplies are included.
Instructor: Larissa McLean is a mixed media artist. She has a BFA in printmaking and holds a current teaching certificate for Alberta and British Columbia. Larissa has been painting for over 20 years and is knowledgeable in mixed-media and fluid acrylics.
