Draw and paint your pet or favourite animal in watercolour and pen! Learn how to paint soulful eyes, life-like fur or even feathers using different brush techniques. In preparation for the class, print out a clear picture - preferably just head shot - of your pet or animal in colour to fit on standard letter size printer paper. We will then transfer the image to watercolour paper and bring the animal to life with Linda's guidance! (If you cannot print a photo, contact us ahead of time and we'll help).

Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. Materials will be provided for use during the class. There will be a break for lunch during this class.

Instructor: Linda Gooding has lived in Courtenay since 2005. She began her career as a technical and graphic illustrator and loves to paint using both watercolour or acrylic. In particular, the wildlife and landscape of BC provide never ending inspiration for her artwork.

Cancellation Policy: All classes and workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance will receive full credit toward a future class or workshop. If you need to cancel within 6 days of your scheduled session, we’re unfortunately unable to issue credit at that time.
