Are you interested in learning to paint with watercolour but not sure if you want to commit to a full course? Come join me and likeminded people for an afternoon of fun painting a Christmas cardinal bird. You will learn about wet on wet and dry brush techniques for backgrounds and detail to create a realistic bird in snowy skies. The Cardinal uses a limited palette of colours and suitable for anyone including beginners or those with some experience. 

No experience is needed and all materials will be provided for use during class.

Instructor: Linda Gooding has lived in Courtenay since 2005. She began her career as a technical and graphic illustrator and loves to paint using both watercolour or acrylic. In particular, the wildlife and landscape of BC provide never ending inspiration for her artwork. Linda offers classes for both beginners or those that already have some experience.
