Join watercolour artist, Alora Griffin, as she guides you on how to paint on watercolour cards. We will be using 3 primary transparent colours - red, yellow and blue - to paint simple flowers. Hand-painted cards are treasured by friends and family! This course is suitable for beginners as well as people who have had some experience painting with watercolours. All materials will be supplied for use in the class, including paints, brushes, cards, and the flowers. At the end of this 2 hour class you will be leaving with 2 hand-painted cards and their envelopes.

Instructor: A recently retired architect and former art teacher, Alora has explored other medium over the years, including drawing, acrylic painting, ceramics and photography, but she’s been focusing exclusively on watercolour painting for more than a decade. Since moving to Comox in 2020 she’s shown her work locally at the Pearl Ellis Gallery, Artful:The Gallery and ArtWrx Studio Gallery. Last year she was accepted as a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists where she exhibits her paintings at the FCA Gallery on Granville Island, in Vancouver.
