Abstract Acrylics 101: Why Abstract? | December 12th
Have you ever been intrigued by abstract painting? Are you interested in learning how to express your emotions more deeply through your art?
In this class, Dennis will discuss his approach to painting abstracts and present a demo to give everyone a glimpse of his methods. Each participant will then be invited to use the art supplies provided to work on their own painting. Dennis will provide one-on-one consulting to assist each participant work through their painting to completion. At the end of the class, each participant will have gained knowledge on abstracts and take home a completed abstract painting.
No experience is necessary for this class! Even those brand new to acrylic painting are completely welcome. All supplies are provided.
Instructor: Dennis Brown is a full time professional artist with a studio in Chemainus, B.C. After painting realistically most of his life, about 25 years ago he discovered the freedom and beauty of painting abstracts. His work is represented by the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.
