Stretched by hand for correct tension and featuring tailored corners, the Artists’ Canvas Boards are constructed from heavy-weight, medium grain poly-cotton cloth secured to high quality boards. These boards are triple-coated with acid-free sizing and highly pigmented primer formulated by Winsor & Newton. Their low moisture content prevents warping and the balance of absorbency and tooth prevents the sinking of oil colors and improves adhesion. Ideal for use with oils, acrylics and alkyds.
